(1) Replacement of Engine Coolant
Warning
▶When opening the radiator cap, be careful of the escaping hot water or steam.
▶Cool down the coolant sufficiently before opening.
③ Replacing coolant
z The drain cock must be loosened only when the
engine is cooled down.
z Loosen the radiator cock under the radiator and
drain plug installed on engine block to drain the
coolant in the engine and radiator.
z Before supplying the coolant, wash out the
radiator with clean water 2~3 times.
z Apply the overflow tube and supply the coolant up
to the inlet of radiator. Fill up the expansion tank
with coolant above the MIN mark. Change the
coolant with anti-freeze solution in cold weather.

z Anti-freeze solution is filled up from the factory.
After first winter, change the coolant to remove
the foreign materials.
5-11. Every 2000 hour or 2-year check

② Check
z Check the coolant of radiator and expansion
tank whether it is insufficient or not.
z Do not open the radiator cap except to check or
change it.
z Supply the clean soft water to the coolant. If not,
the radiator shall be corroded or rust shall be
generated.
