STOPPER STRAP POSITIONS

When operating the snowm obile in deep snow or hill climbing, it
may be necessary to vary stopper strap length and/or riding position,
to change the angle at which the track rides on the snow. Operator's
familiarity with the various adjustm ents as well as snow conditions
will dictate the most efficient combinatio n.
Generally, a longer stopper strap setting gives better performance on
a flat landscape and a shorter setting will improve handling in steep
hill clim bing and deep snow conditions.
