Ethernet Ports - accepts standard RJ45 Ethernet cable, to provide two-way
Ethernet communication connection between the SolsTiS control unit and a
PC (running the supplied UI, accessed via any standard web browser
software). An Ethernet switch is not needed inline between the ICE-BLOC
controller and the control PC.
3.5 Laptop and Software User Interface
Warning! The SolsTiS control unit does not control
laser emission from the SolsTiS or pump laser, and
provides no indication of the status of SolsTiS or the
pump laser, including whether SolsTiS or pump laser
emission is present or not. SolsTiS and pump laser
emission/ deactivation – and emission status – can be
accessed only via your pump laser control unit.
Caution! Please refer to your PC manual for all
precautions, safety, operating and maintenance
instructions for this PC.
Warning! To ensure compliance with laser safety
regulations, the pump laser and its laser-emission
warning indicator must always be placed <2m (< 6ft)
away from SolsTiS’ output port. In addition, all system
controllers (e.g., ICE-BLOC modules, pump laser
controller, control PC) must also always be positioned
within 2m (< 6ft) of the pump laser laser-emission
warning indicator and easily visible from all of them.
Failure to follow this instruction may result in a laser
safety hazard for users.
