engine. The saw chain runs.
> Push the front guard (2) to check if the chain brake works properly.
Then disengage the chain brake.
> To use the chainsaw grip the product with both hands, left hand
holding the front handle (1) (do not hold chain brake) and the right
hand holding the rear handle (11).
Warm Start:
> Pull out the choke lever (25) fully and then press it in. The choke
is now at OPEN position and the throttle is set at fast tickover
position.
> Hold the product securely to the ground and put your foot on the rear
guard (10).
> Pull the starter cord [23] slowly with your right hand until you feel
a denite resistance and then give it a brisk, strong pull. Repeat
until the engine starts.
WARNING! Allow the starter cord to return slowly and in a
controlled manner each time it is pulled!
NOTE: When you squeeze and release the throttle
interlock (26) and throttle trigger (27), the fast tickover is
cancelled and engine runs idle.
> Before accelerating the engine, make sure the chain brake is
disengaged by pulling back the front guard (2) fully.
> Squeeze the throttle interlock and throttle trigger to accelerate the
engine. The saw chain runs.
> Push the front guard (2) to check if the chain brake works properly.
Then disengage the chain brake.
> To use the chainsaw, grip the product with both hands, left hand
holding the front handle (1) (do not hold chain brake) and the right
hand holding the rear handle (11).
Stopping
> Release the throttle trigger (27) and let the
product run in idle for a while.
> Set the ignition switch (24) to “O” (off
position) (Fig. 28).
WARNING! The product will continue to work for some
time even after the engine has been switched off! Wait
until it comes to a complete stop before you put the
product down!
