OPERATION
REEL SPEED
For best feeding of crop into the sickle and auger,
reel speed should be just faster than ground
speed. This gently sweeps crop across sickle into
auger. Excessive reel speed causes undue wear
of reel components and unnecessary load on reel
drive, resulting in uneven reel motion.

console are used to adjust reel speed.
