If cut grain is falling ahead of the cutterbar on your MacDon Farm Equipment, consider these solutions. Increasing ground speed may help, as well as increasing reel speed. The reel or cutterbar may be too high, so lower them. If the reel is too far forward, move it back on the arms. If cutting at speeds over 6 mph with a high-torque reel drive sprocket, replace it with a high-speed reel drive sprocket. Finally, replace any worn or broken sickle components.
