Fuses

The vehicle electric fuses are located in the foot well next to
the cabin door under a lockable lid.
If there are malfunctions with the electric loads, then:
X Open the cover (see illustration 74).
X Check the fuses.
The exact layout of the fuses can be read from the supplied
circuit diagram.
X If necessary replace the defective fuse with a new fuse of
the same type and strength.
DANGER!
Danger of fire!
By inserting stronger fuses you may risk burning
cables.
X Always note for what amperage the electrical loads
are made for.
X Always replace the defective fuses with fuses of the
same type and strength.
If fuses burn out again after a short while,
have a specialist find and repair the cause.
