TOW I N G
Operating Manual MT 25 / 30 YT 127
Towing
The MT may only be towed in an emergency and for short dis-
tances at a maximum speed of 10 km/h out of a danger zone.
The following needs to be observed thereby:
z The maximum towing distance of 2 km may not be
exceeded if the motor is running.
z The maximum towing distance of 50 metres may not be
exceeded if the motor is not running.
z For longer towing distances, the cardan shaft between
drive axle and transmission needs to be dismantled.
CAUTION!
Transmission damage!
If you tow the MT for longer distances while the motor
is not running and the cardan shaft installed, the trans-
mission will be significantly damaged due to missing oil
lubrication.
X Dismantle the cardan shaft before towing for longer
distances.
If there isn't sufficient compressed air available to
loosen the parking brake, then the spring-loaded com-
ponent in the parking brake can be released by the
emergency release lever.
