Ignition
The ignition lock is used to switch on/off the ignition and start/
stop the motor.

Make sure that the transmission is shifted to the „Neutral“
position.
X Turn the ignition key to position I.
X Wait until the “preheating” light goes out.
X Turn the ignition key to position III.
3 The motor starts.
X Release the ignition key.
3 The ignition key goes automatically back to position I.
0 Ignition off
(all electrical loads are switched off, ignition key can be
withdrawn)
I MT is ready for operation
(ignition is on, electrical loads such as radio, two-way
radio are on, warning and control lights active)
Engine preheating
II Not assigned
III Activates the starter
