STARTING CHECK

Daily checks before starting the motor
Carry out the following checks on the MT each day before
driving.
Look for externally visible damage and irregularities.
Tyres/Wheels
X Check the tyres for the following:
z objects jammed in the treads,
z proper air pressure (10 bar when the tyres are cold),
z deformations, bulges,
z damaged wheel rims,
z missing or loose wheel bolts and nuts,
z extremely unevenly worn tyres.
Main battery switch
The main battery switch is lpcated on the outside of the pneu-
matics and battery compartment. The switch breaks the elec-
trical connection of the vehicle battery to the electrical
consumers.

Check whether the main battery switch is switched on.
Lighting system
X Inspect the lighting system for:
z obvious damage,
z function.
