Setting the Beeper
1. Press MENU.
2. Use the
Arrow joystick to highlight Preferences.
3. Press
ENTER.
4. Use the
Arrow joystick to highlight Alarms & Beeper.
5. Press ENTER.
6. Use the
Arrow joystick to highlight the Beeper field.
7. Press
ENTER.
8. Select Off, Keys Only, Alarms Only, or Keys & Alarms.
9. Press
ENTER.
Setting Alarms
1. Press MENU.
2. Use the
Arrow joystick to highlight Preferences.
3. Press
ENTER.
4. Use the
Arrow joystick to highlight Alarms & Beeper.
5. Press ENTER.
6. Use the Arrow joystick to highlight the alarm field that you want to turn off or set.
7. Press ENTER.
8. Select from the list of available distances the distance that you want the alarm alert
to come on or select
Off to turn off the alarm.
Note that the GPS Fix alarm does not offer any distance, just
On or Off.
9. Press
ENTER.
10. When all of the alarms have been set, press
ESC to return to the Preferences
menu or NAV to return to the last viewed Map screen.

General
