NORMAL OPERATION
When the engine coolant temperature rises above 97 deg Celsius, ECU actuates the radiator fan relay and the Fan
motor gets the 12 V supply and starts functioning. When the coolant temperature goes below 84 deg, ECU will
deactivate the relay and the fan will stop functioning.
DTC Detecting Condition Probable Causes
Fan relay circuit short to ground
Fan relay circuit short to battery
Fan relay control open load error
Harness or Connectors
Failed Fan relay
LAMP STATUS
Engine check lamp ON
FAULT REACTION
Engine gets over heated
