DTC Detecting Condition Probable Causes
An excessively low voltage (0 Volts) from the APP1 sensor
is sent to ECU.
An excessively high voltage (3.5 Volts for C04 ECU and 5.25
for C55 ECU ) from the APP1 sensor is sent to ECU.
APP1 and APP2 signals are not synchronized
Harness or Connectors
(The sensor circuit is open or
shorted)
Failed accelerator pedal
position sensor 1
Lamp Status
Check engine lamp ON
Fault Reaction
If malfunction is with APP1 and its circuit, then the engine runs with throttle till 40% with fuel quantity limitations
If both APP1 and APP2 malfunction, then engine will run at limp home mode i.e 1200 rpm
