NORMAL OPERATION
The brake main switch sends the output of 12V to ECU if the pedal is depressed and the brake redundant switch
sends 12V signal if the brake pedal is in released condition. The ECU checks whether the voltage is within the
specified limit (0 to 12V).
DTC Detecting Condition Probable Causes
The brake main switch output voltage remains in 0V
even after pressing the brake pedal
The brake redundant switch output voltage remains in
12V even after pressing the brake pedal
Harness or Connectors
Failed brake switch
Brake switch maladjustment
