Is the system check
lamp glows?
YES
NO
 Ignition OFF
 Lamp failed
 Replace the instrument cluster
 Clear the error codes and verify
 Ignition OFF
 Check for damage/oxidation in
instrument cluster and ECU
connector pins
 Clear the error codes and verify

Step 2
 Ignition OFF
 ECU connector DISCONNECTED
 Instrument cluster connector
DISCONNECTED
 Check the continuity between pin 1 of
the instrument cluster wiring harness
connector and pin 48 of the ECU
harness connector
Is continuity exists?
NO
YES
 Ignition OFF
 Repair the open circuit between the
ECU and cluster
 Clear the error codes and verify
 Ignition ON
 Crankshaft speed sensor connector
DISCONNECTED
 Crank the engine
