DTC Detecting Condition Probable Causes
An excessively low voltage ( 0 Volts) from the APP2 sensor
is sent to ECU.
An excessively high voltage(1.65 V for C04 ECU and 2.5 V for
C55 ECU ) from the APP2 sensor is sent to ECU.
APP1 and APP2 signals are not synchronized
Harness or Connectors
(The sensor circuit is open or
shorted)
Failed accelerator pedal
position sensor 2
Lamp Status
Check engine lamp ON
Fault Reaction
If malfunction is within APP2 and its circuit, then engine runs with throttle till 40% with quantity limitations
If both APP1 and APP2 malfunction, then engine will run at limp home mode i.e. the rpm will remain continuously
in 1200 rpm
