pin 1 of the cam phase sensor
connector and pin 44 of ECU

 Examine the open circuit
of ground line
 Repair/replace the wiring
harness
 Clear the error codes and
verify

 Cam phase sensor connector
DISCONNECTED
 ECU connector DISCONNECTED
 Check the continuity between pin 2 of
the cam phase sensor connector and
pin 46 of ECU connector
Does continuity
exist?
 Ignition OFF
 Examine the open circuit
in signal line
 Repair/replace the wiring
harness
 Clear the error codes and
verify
 Ignition OFF
 Replace the cam phase
sensor
 Clear the DTC and verify
