3. Turn the petcock clockwise to stop the flow of diesel fuel.
Wear protective gloves and OSHA approved eye protection when
performing this procedure to help prevent injury.
Always dispose of drained fluid properly to prevent environmental
damage.
Clean fuel spilled on exposed surfaces with a clean cloth.
23.12 Lubricate Shift Linkage
Lubricate the shift linkage as needed when shifting becomes
difficult, after excessive water exposure to the undercarriage, or
when there is excessive exposure to the effects of salt air. Apply a
quality Fluoropolymer penetrating lubricant or PTFE lubricant to
shift linkage pivot points. (Refer to the below image)
23.13 Accessory Drive Belt Tension/Replacement
Inspect the accessory drive belts periodically for cracks and
abnormal wear. It is a good idea to carry an extra belt, especially as
your ROXOR ages, as broken alternator belt can leave you
stranded.
