used with radio-controlled systems.
Radio actuator PP45 ACT (1channel): The
PP45Act can be used to activate the “Supply
air for exhaust air units” function for PP45RC
units. The PP45ACT is connected and taught-
in in accordance with the enclosed installation
and operating instructions.
Teaching-in tips
• Radio components are taught-in directly on the
RC-Master (TEACH key).
• Only one slave unit can be assigned to each
master ventilation unit of the same type. Excep-
tion: In systems with PP 45 RC and PPB 30 RC
unit pairs, the additional teaching in of the PPB
30 RC into the master PP 45 is possible.
• Correct operation of a unit pair is monitored by
the master unit.
• Teach-in mode is deactivated each time a radio
component is saved, meaning that it has to be
called up again for each further component.
• If nothing is received within 120seconds, the
teaching-in process is ended (the LED on the
ventilation unit switches off).
• Teach-in telegrams from non-supported units
are ignored.
8.3 Radio switch
The DS 45 RC is a double rocker radio switch for
operating PP 45 RC / PPB 30 RC ventilation
units. The operating mode and ventilation level is
transferred to all taught-in PP 45 RC/PPB 30 RC
master ventilation units.
8.4 PP 45 EO EnOcean extension
module
The PP 45 EO EnOcean extension module allows
radio-controlled PP 45 ventilation units to also be
operated with the wired RLS 45 K control. The
PP 45 EO is connected to the RS485 interface of
the RLS 45 K.
The PP45EO EnOcean module can only be
taught-in with the commissioning software
(RLS45K). This activates the teaching mode
and sends a radio telegram. All radio sensors/
radio switches are taught-in directly on the
PP45EO. Only the EnOcean module is taught-
in on the master.
