11 Filter changes, unit cleaning

24 Front cover
R Latches
1. Remove front cover by gently pressing up the
two latches and evenly pulling cover to the
front and out. Do not twist it.
31 Air filter
2. Pull the two air filters out of the internal hous-
ing.
3. Insert new air filters in the two filter seats. En-
sure that the air filters are correctly inserted
into the two holders → Figure.
4. Attach front cover at top in two housing studs
and swivel down until they engage with the
two latches.
5. Switch on mains fuse and remove warning
sign.
ð The ventilation units start up.
6. Acknowledge the filter change on a control/the
RC ventilation unit:
RLS 45 O
Press button for 5seconds.
RLS 45 K
Press the and but-
tons together for 5 seconds.
PPB 30 RC Press SET button for 5seconds.
Complete. The filter change is complete.
11.6 Cleaning PPB 30 ventilation unit
Have ventilation unit cleaned by a specialist in-
staller every 2 years.
Clean internal grille, fans and electronics cover
with a dry cloth.
Clean all ventilation units as follows:
1. Remove the 4 screws (→ arrows) of the slide-
in module.
2. Pull off both connector plugs on circuit board.
CAUTION Risk of injury/damage to unit
from falling slide-in module.
Sometimes the slide-in module (3.6 kg) is hard to
pull out. Ensure that you are standing securely
and cannot lose your balance and that there is no
one under the unit. When installing and removing
the slide-in module, support it from below with a
hand.
