OPERATION AND IMPORTANT RIDING POINTS

When parking the vehicle, stop the engine and remove the ignition
key.
If the exhaust system is hot, park in places where pe-
destrians or children are not likely to touch it. Do not
park on a slope or soft ground: the vehicle may overturn.
Never park in an area where there are fire hazards, such
as grass or other inflammable materials.
PARKING
STARTING
• Get onto the vehicle whilst holding the right hand brake lever,
with both hands on the handlebar.
• Make sure vehicle’s side stand is in idle position and engine
stop switch is in ‘RUN’ position
.
• Check the position of the rear-view mirror.
• Pull the left hand clutch lever and shift the transmission into
the lowest position with your left foot.
• Check for approaching traffic, switch on the direction indicator
and simultaneously release the clutch lever and gently turn
the throttle grip. Set off.
Never accelerate with the brakes engaged!
