3. Insert an 8mm Allen wrench into the
end of the rebound damper rod. Turn
wrench clockwise unl damper rod can
be pushed into fork casng.

Fork Disassembly

Remove Air Valve Cap

Step 1: Remove the air valve cap from the fork.

Remove Rebound Damper Knob

Step 2: Use a 2mm Allen wrench to remove the rebound damper knob.

Retract Rebound Damper Rod

Step 3: Insert 8mm Allen wrench and turn clockwise to retract rebound damper rod.

Disengage Compression Rod

Step 4: Use 8mm socket to turn compression rod clockwise, disengaging it from casting threads.

Remove Fork Casting

Step 5: Remove the fork casting, noting potential oil release into drain pan.

Release Air Pressure

Step 6: Attach shock pump and release all air pressure from the fork.

Compress and Retract Rod

Step 7: With pump attached, compress rod assembly until bottom out bumper contacts end cap.
