2012.12 Maintenance - STACKY
A - DAILY CHECKS
A1 - BRAKING EFFICIENCY
CHECK
When the tiller arm is in zones (1) and (3) (g. A1), the electromagnetic brake must lock
the drive wheel.
A2 - WHEEL AND ROLLER WEAR
CHECK
The drive unit, the stabilising wheel and the rear rollers must show no signs of cutting or wear.

CHECK
After having placed the forks or the tool in the down position, the chain must be tight. Visually check the chain tension.
A4 - HYDRAULIC SYSTEM OPERATION
CHECK
Operate each “raise”/“lower” control button on the tiller arm. The fork or the tool must then be raised or lowered smoothly
and without jamming. Jerkiness during lowering may be due to air in the hydraulic system.
A5 - KEY SWITCH OPERATION
CHECK
The key switch prevents unauthorised use of the stacker. Switch o the power with the key (the battery charge indicator will
go out), then remove it. Operate the “raise”/“lower” buttons. The fork or the tool must not move.
A6 - BATTERY CHARGE LEVEL
CHECK
Check the battery charge level. If two red LEDs are alternately ashing, the batteries require recharging.
A7 - MAINS LEAD
CHECK
Check that the charger is not connected to the mains supply and that the lead is correctly in place in the dummy socket. If it is not
in place, a safety system will prevent stacker operation.
