6.1 Installing the Exhaust Duct Extension on the Bottom Unit
Checking the exhaust duct’s projecting height
1.
Use the caliper or a measuring tape to measure the projecting
height at the lowest point of the exhaust duct found at the rear
right at the top of the unit
(one exhaust duct in 6.10/10.10 units; two exhaust ducts in
6.20/10.20 units).
Make sure to measure the distance between the exhaust duct
and the top of the unit (do not measure from the black gasket).
2. If the projecting height is greater than 0.6”, it is not necessary to
install the exhaust duct extension.
If the projecting height is less than 0.6”, you will need to install
the exhaust duct extension.
Checking the exhaust duct’s inclination
1.
Insert the enclosed exhaust duct extension into the exhaust
duct.
2.
Check to make sure that the inclinations of both parts match.
3.
If the inclinations do not match (see the picture to the left), do
not install the exhaust duct extension. In this case, you can
dispose of the extension if you wish.
