6.4 Installing the Top Unit
The figures below show an electrical stacking kit for stacking a size 6.10 unit on a size 6.10 unit. They
are used as an example representing all unit sizes and unit models:
Preparing the top unit
1.
Make sure that the top unit’s oven cavity is empty (rack, suction
panel, sheet pans, etc.).

With several people, carefully place the bottom unit on its back
side on the transport pallet.
Make sure to use appropriate padding in order to protect the
unit (cardboard and styrofoam from the packaging, for exam-
ple).
Do not lift or carry too much weight during the process!
Caution! Risk of injury due to excessive exertion!
2.b
In the case of units with a disappearing door, make sure not to
damage the block on the side.
3.
With several people, carefully place the top unit on its back side
on an appropriate surface and remove the four feet using a
6-mm Allen key.
Make sure that the grease filter (if any) has been removed.
