Description
The CS4 392 is a c omplete st ereo digital-to-analog sys-
tem including di gital interpolation, fifth-order delta-sigm a
digital-to-analog conversion, digital de-emphas is, vol-
ume control, cha nnel mixing and analog filtering. The
advantag es of this architecture i nc lude: ideal differen tial
linearity, no distortion m ec hanism s du e to resistor
matching errors, no linearity drift over time and tem pera-
ture, and a high t oleran ce t o cl ock jitter.
The CS4392 accepts PCM da ta at sample rates from
4 kHz to 192 kHz, DSD audio da ta, has selectable digital
filters, and consumes very little po wer. These f eat ures
are ideal for DV D, SACD players, A/V receivers, CD a nd
set-top box systems. The CS4392 is pin a nd register
compatible with the CS 4391, makin g e asy performanc e
upgrades possible.
