What is covered

what is not covered
Except as specified below, this wa
rranty
covers
parts
and
lab
or
to
correct
all
defects
in
materials
and
workmanship.
The
following
are
not
covered
by
the
warranty:

Dama
ge,
deterioration
,
malfunction
or
failure
to

performance
specifications
resulting
from:
a) Acc
ident
,
acts
of
nature,
misuse,
abuse,
ne
g
le
ct
or
unauthorized
product
modification.
b)
Improper
installation,
removal
or
maintenance
,
or
failure to follow
in
structions
supplied
with
the
product.
c)
Repair
or
attempte
d
repair
by
anyone
not
authorized
by
Marantz
to
repair
the
product.

Any

hipment
of
the
product
(claims
must
be
presented
to
the
carrier).

An
y cause
other
than
a
product
defect.

Cleaning, initial set-up, check-ups

no
defects
found

or
charges
incurred
for installation, removal

which
the

Batteries.

including
but
not
limit
ed

Warranty

void
if
purchase
was
made
from
anyone
other

This
warranty
extends
only
to
the
orig
inal
purchaser,
not
subsequent
owners.
What
we
will
pay for

for all
labor
and
material expenses for items covered
by
the
warranty

will
advise

of
the
name
and
location
of
one
or
more
authorized
Marantz
service
stations
from
which
service
can
be
obtained

Plea
se
do
not
return
your
unit
to
the
factory
without
prior
authori
zation.
2.
You
must
pay
any
shipping
charges
if it is necessary to
ship
the
product
for service. However, if
the
necessary
repairs
are
covered
under
warranty
,
we
will
pay
th
e r
etu
rn
shipping
c
har
ges
to
any
destination
within
th
e
United
States,
its
pos
sess
ions
or
territories.

Whenever
warranty
service is
required
, you
must
present
the
original
dated
sales receipt
or
other
proof
of
date
of
purchase.
Limitation of implied warranties
All
implied
warranties,
including
warranties
of
merchantabilit

and
fitness
for
a
particular
purpose
are
limited
in
duration
to
the
le
ngth
of
this
warranty
and
are
limited
in
scope
to
the
term

ntained
in

s
warra
nt
y. All
other
warran
ties
are
hereby
disclaimed.
Exclusion of damages
Marantz
liability for any defective
product
is limit
ed
to
repair
or
replacement
of
the
product
at
Marant
z's
option
.
Marant
z shall
not
be
liable for
damage
to
other
products
caused
by
any
defects
in
Marantz
products,
damag
es
based
upon
inc
onvenience
or
los

of
use
of

e
product

or
any

ther
damages,
whether
incidental, consequential, or otherwise.

law
relates to the warranty

not
allow
