If Martin Spotlight fixtures reset correctly but respond erratically, it may be due to a bad data link. Inspect connections and cables, correcting poor connections and replacing damaged cables. It could also be that the data link is not terminated; insert a DMX termination plug in the data output socket of the last MAC Quantum Profile on the data link. Incorrect addressing of fixtures can also cause this issue, so check the fixture address and protocol settings. A defective fixture disturbing data transmission is another possibility. To check this, unplug the XLR in and out connectors and connect them directly together to bypass one fixture at a time until normal operation is regained. If this is the case, have the fixture serviced by a qualified technician.
