SPARK PLUGS
Inspect:
 Insulator ①
Abnormal color: Replace.
Normal color is a medium-
To-light tan color.
 Electrode ②
Wear/damage: Replace. Clean:
 Spark plug
(with spark plug cleaner or wire
brush)
Measure:
 Spark plug gap ③
Out of specification: Adjust gap.
Spark Plug Removal and Replacement
WARNING
Never attempt to remove a spark plug while the engine is warm. The
exhaust system or engine could burn you causing severe injury.
1.Remove the spark plug by rotating counterclockwise.
2.Reverse the procedure for spark plug installation.
Torque to 17ft.Ibs (23N.m).

CR7HSA(NGK)
