LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE LIGHTING
1. All control knobs must be set to OFF/“O”.
2. Gas supply must be “Closed”.
6. Push and turn remaining control knobs to MAX/“05” position.
Note: If the burners fail to light properly within 3-5 seconds, turn the burner control knob OFF/“O”. Wait five minutes before
attempting to light the burner again. This will allow time for released gas to dissipate.
WARNING
Never stand with your head directly over the griddle when preparing to light the main burners to prevent possible bodily injury.
LIGHTING BURNERS
3. SLOWLY, open the LP cylinder valve counter-clockwise.
Wait 10 seconds for pressure to stabilize.
4. To ignite, push and turn the ignition burner knob ( ) to MAX/“05” position. You will hear a “click” sound as the
piezo starter is activated in the control knob. Confirm that the burner is lit before continuing. Repeat STEP 5 for
the second ignition burner knob ( ). Check that the burners are lit..
5. Repeat STEP 4 for the second ignition burner knob. Check that the burner is lit
