SCALE – Located on the front rail, the easy-to-read scale provides precise
measurements for rip cuts.
SLIDING EXTENSION TABLE – Located on the right side of the saw table,
this extension table gives the operator additional support when cutting wide
workpiece.
SPREADER/RIVING KNIFE – A metal piece of the blade guard assembly,
slightly thinner than the saw blade, that helps to keep the kerf open and
prevent kickback.
ON/OFF SWITCH ASSEMBLY – This saw has an easy access switch. To lock
the switch in the OFF position, remove the yellow switch key from the switch.
Place the key in a location that is inaccessible to children and others who are
not qualified to use the tool
ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT
UNPACKING
This product requires assembly.
1. Carefully lift the saw from the carton and place it on a level work surface.
2. Inspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred
during shipping.
3. Do not discard the packing material until you have carefully inspected and
satisfactorily operated the tool.
4. The saw is factory set for accurate cutting. After assembling it, check
for accuracy. If shipping has influenced the settings, refer to specific
procedures explained in this manual.
5. If any parts are damaged or missing, please call 1-800-689-9928 for
assistance.
