WARRANTY POLICY
WARRANTYREGISTRATION
All machines must be registered,bythesellingdealerwithMcConnelLtd, beforedelivery to the
enduser.Onreceiptofthegoodsitisthebuyer’sresponsibilitytocheckthattheVerificationof
WarrantyRegistrationintheOperator’sManualhasbeencompletedbythesellingdealer.
1. LIMITEDWARRANTIES
1.01. All mounted machines supplied by McConnel Ltd are warranted to be free from defects in material
andworkmanshipfromthedateofsaletotheoriginalpurchaserforaperiodof12months,unlessa
differentperiodisspecified.
All Self Propelled Machines supplied by McConnel Ltd are warranted to
be free from defects in
materialandworkmanshipfromthe dateofsaletotheoriginalpurchaserforaperiodof12months
or1500hours.EnginewarrantywillbespecifictotheManufacturerofthatunit.
1.02. All spare parts supplied by McConnel Ltd and purchased by the end
user are warranted to be free
fromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipfromthedateofsaletotheoriginalpurchaserforaperiod
of6months.Allpartswarrantyclaimsmustbesupportedbyacopyofthefailedpartinvoicetothe
enduser.Wecannotconsiderclaims for
whichsalesinvoicesarenotavailable.
1.03. ThewarrantyofferedbyMcConnelLtdislimitedtothemakinggoodbyrepairorreplacementforthe
purchaseranypartorpartsfound,uponexaminationatitsfactory,tobedefectiveundernormaluse
and service due to defects in material or
workmanship. Returned parts must be co mplete and
unexamined.Pack the component(s) carefully so that any transit damage is avoided. All ports on
hydraulic items should be drained of oiland securely plugged to prevent see page and foreign body
ingress. Certain other components, electrical items for example, may require particular care
when
packingtoavoiddamageintransit.
1.04. This warranty does not extend to any product from which McConnel Ltd’s serial number plate has
beenremovedoraltered.
1.05. Thew arrantypolicyisvalidformachinesregisteredinlinewiththetermsandconditionsdetailedand
on the basis that
the machines do not extend a period of 24 months or greater since their original
purchasedate,thatistheoriginalinvoicedatefromMcConnelLimited.
Machinesthatareheldinstockformorethan24monthscannotberegisteredfo rwarranty.
1.06. This warranty does not apply to any part
of the goods, which has been subjected to improper or
abnormal use, negligence, alteration, modification, fitment of non‐genuine parts, accident damage,
ordamageresultingfromcontactwithoverheadpowerlines,damagecausedbyforeignobjects(e.g.
stones,iron,materialotherthanvegetation),failureduetolackofmaintenance,use
ofincorrectoilor
lubricants,contaminationoftheoil,orwhichhasserveditsnormallife.Thiswarrantydoesnotapply
toanyexpendableitemssuchasblades,belts,clutchlinings,filterelements,flails,flapkits,skids,soil
engagingparts,shields,guards,wearpads,pneumatictyresortracks.
1.07. Temporary repairs
and consequential loss‐i.e. oil, downtime and associated parts are specifically
excludedfromthewarranty.
1.08. Warrantyonhosesis limited to12months and doesnotincludehoseswhichhavesufferedexternal
damage.Onlycompletehosesmaybereturnedunderwarranty,anywhichhavebeencutorrepaired
will
berejected.
