Charging from Tow Vehicle
Symptom

No charge, alternator, and solar light

Connect trigger wire for DC to DC to
accessory power from car via trailer
plug.
No charge DC to DC alternator lit

Trigger wire for DC to DC unit not
activated for smart alternator
Connect trigger wire for DC to DC to
accessory power from car via trailer
plug.
Charging from Mains Power
Symptom
Possible Cause
Remedy
No power to charger
Mains power not connected
Connect mains power
Charger not plugged in
Plug in mains charger
Charger not turned on
Turn on charger
RCD tripped
Reset RCD Fig 1
No charge with charger on
Tripped circuit breaker
Reset circuit breaker CB3 Fig.1
Incorrect charger setting
Set charger to correct battery type
and power setting (AGM for
standard batteries)
Battery voltage too low (less than 6
volts)
Change charger setting to “Supply”
until battery voltage reads minimum
of 6 volts then choose setting
“recondition” if this function is
available. Choose “AGM” if not
available.
If error code appears on the charger display refer to the Projecta user manual.
