2. Then connect the black clip to the equipment’s - terminal.
3. Connect the 12 V wire’s terminal to the generator’s DC output.
4. The circuit breaker will trip if the DC output is overloaded.
5. Disconnect the equipment.
6. Push the circuit breaker in to resume generator operation.
NOTE: If you are charging a car battery, do not start the car while the battery is being charged.
Turning off the engine
To stop the engine immediately in an emergency situation, turn the engine switch to the OFF position.
Normal procedure:
1. Switch off the connected equipment.
2. Set the engine switch to OFF.
3. Close the fuel vent cap.
4. Close the fuel cock.

The generator will require more frequent maintenance if it is used in very dusty or dirty conditions.
Changing the oil
1. Check that the engine switch and fuel
valve are in the OFF position.
2. Loosen the disassembly cover.
3. Remove the oil filler cap.
4. Drain the engine oil into a suitable
container.
5. Stand the generator upright again.
6. Refill with new oil.
7. Refit the oil filler cap.
8. Screw the disassembly cover back on.
9. Take the used oil to the local authority’s
recycling facility for proper disposal.
