The green LED might be flashing (1 second on and 2 seconds off), indicating that the device isn't connected to the GSM network, so ensure it's connected. The GSM network might be experiencing slowdowns during peak times or due to equipment issues. If the unit is in sleeping or power-down mode, cancel those modes. Double-check that you're using the correct password and SMS format. Finally, verify that the SIM card has sufficient credit or replace/top it up if necessary.

  If the green LED on your MeiTrack GPS is flashing (1 second on and 2 seconds off), it often indicates a GSM signal issue. First, use a mobile phone to check for a signal in the area or try calling the unit. If there's no signal, that's likely the problem. Ensure a working SIM card is inserted, and verify it can send SMS messages using a phone. If the SIM card has expired, replace it. Remove any PIN code set on the SIM card by using your phone. Inspect the SIM for any warping or damage, and clean the contacts. If re-inserting doesn't work, try another SIM. If you're in a different country, make sure roaming is enabled on your SIM account. Also, a low battery can cause this issue, so recharge the unit.
