The scallop stitch is suitable for sewing and overcasting soft, lightweight fabrics in a single operation. Lay
the fabric face-to-face under the presser foot. Check that the zigzag edge is directly above the fabric’s cut
edges.
This stitch is also perfect for embroidery with scallop stitches. Fold a hem of approx. 12 mm. Ensure that
the zigzag stitch runs immediately above the edge of the fabric. The fabric attains a stable, very fine
scallop edge.
