could come intocontact with hotgases or other escaping operating fluids.

Beforeopening theengine hood, allowthe engine to cool down.

In theevent of afireinthe engine compartment, keep theengine hood closed and call thefireservice.

Wait until theengine has cooled down.

Makesurethat theair supply to theradiator is notobstructed.

Avoiding high loads on theengine, driveontothe nearestqualified specialistworkshop. When doing so, ensure
that thecoolant temperaturedisplayremainsbelow248 °F (120 °C).
