Trim down: If the trim angle is excessive, the bow will rise out
of the water and the speed will decrease. Furthermore, the
bow may sway or the bottom may slam the water while
cruising. In this case, decrease the trim angle by setting the
trim position pin in a lower position.
Trim up: If the trim angle is too small, the bow will dip into
water, the speed will decrease, and water may enter the
boat. In this case, the trim angle should be increased by
setting the trim position pin in a higher position.
