Two anodes are fitted at the gear case and the mount bracket.
When the anodes has been eroded more than 2/3, replace it
immediately.

IMPORTANT: Please follow the instructions below.
1. Never grease or paint the node.
2. At each inspection, retighten the anode fixing bolt, as it is likely
to be subjected to electrolytic corrosion.
Propeller Replacement
!
WARNING
Rotating propellers can cause serious injury or death. Never
operate the boat out of the water with a propeller installed. Before
installing or removing a propeller, place the drive unit in neutral
and engage the lanyard stop switch to prevent the engine from
starting. Place a block of wood between the propeller blade and
the anti‑ventilation plate.
1. Shift outboard to neutral (N) position.
