2 Maintenance
23. While tilting the assembly engage the spigot bearing
(Fig.2.39) and install the R.H. cap assembly into locating
h
oles (Fig.2.40).
24. Fit the cap screws and washers that hold the R.H- cap to the
carrier (Fig.2.41). Tighten all the cap screws by hand four to
s
ix turns, then tighten to the correct torque value
200Nm+ 90°-105°.
25. Fit the L.H. split cap with a light plastic or rubber mallet
(Fig.2.42).
