IX 3131 II - 11
• Pull out the fuse from the fuse holder and then replace a new fuse rated voltage in
accordance with specific required fuse.
A protective 0,2 A / 250 V fuse is used in AC 100 / 120 V, 60 Hz. 0,1 A / 250 V fuse
is used in AC 220 / 240 V, 50 Hz.
3.2.2. The signal source protective fuse (70 mA / 250 V)
• Loosen screws with suitable screw-
driver and remove bottom cover as
shown in fig. 3c. Replace the damaged
fuse with a 70 mA / 250V AC fast blow
fuse.

3.3. How to operate
3.3.1. 2 / 4 Wire Measurement
"
Note : If 4 wire measurement has been selected by mistake, although
"sense" inputs are short, the display might show FUSE. In this
case, switch the instrument off and connect to 2 wire measu-
rement when switching on.
• Press "2 W / 4 W" key to select 2 wire or 4 wire measurement.
• 2 wire measurement :
The H-sense, L-sense must be used in 2 wire measurement connect the test clip to
component leads.

• 4 wire measurement :
The H-Force, H-Sense, L-Sense, L-Force must be used in 4 wire measurement connect
the test clip to component leads. It is recommended to use 4 wire mode in order to
neglecting the capacitance, resistance, inductance effect from test leads.
