pH ON-OFF DOSING
Constant dosing that activates when the measure moves away from the desired value.
Set Off. = Value of the measure that causes the STOP of the dosing
Set On = value of the measure that causes the START of the dosing.
% Flowrate =% constant dosing flow rate
Del.On = seconds expected before dosing when measure exceeds the Set On value.
The hysteresis between Set Off and Set On allows the measure to reach a value halfway between the two values.
ATTENTION: choose for Set Off a value different from Set Off.
EXAMPLE OF SETTING SET-OFF:
In the Dosing menu, select "ON-OFF" by the cursor
and press ENTER.
The factory parameters are shown in the figure on the
left.
Use the ▼ ▲buttons to move the cursor and select
the parameter to be modified and press ENTER to
enter the modification.
Use the ▼ ▲ keys to select the desired value and
press the ENTER button each time to confirm the
change.
If you want to esc programming and return to
measurement, press ESC for 3 seconds.
The factory settings allow dosing ACID to lower the pH in the plant.
With a measure equal to or greater than 7.30pH the pump doses at 80% of the maximum flow.
With a measure equal to or less than 7.10pH the pump does not dose.
Example:
The measure with stopped dosage from 7.00pH increases up to 7.30pH. At this point the pump waits 3 seconds before
starting to dose. As long as the measure remains above 7.10pH the pump continues to dose at the programmed flowrate
of 80%. When the measure reaches 7.10pH the pump stops dosing.
