Air Pressure Power and Setting
Powerful: The Micron MC-20 Single Cylinder is also a very powerful machine. The
MC -20 has two ways to adjust its piston pressure. The air intake pressure control
valve will adjust the piston pressure from 0-150 PSI (0-10 bar). Stroke up/down
keys on the digital display will adjust the piston stroke from 0-150. The MC-20 is
capable of applying up to 450 kg of pressure per square centimeter.
Powerful: The Micron MC-20 Double Cylinder has the extra power for the most
demanding fastener attachment jobs. The MC -20 has two ways to adjust its piston
pressure. The air intake pressure control valve will adjust the piston pressure from
0-150 PSI (0-10 bar). Stroke up/down keys on the digital panel will adjust the piston
stroke from 0-150. The MC-20 is capable of applying up to 950 kg of pressure per
square centimeter.
PISTON PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT: MC-20 Double Pneumatic Machine has two
pistons while single one has one piston. Piston pressure determines the amount of
the force applied by the dies while attaching the grommets or other fasteners on to
the material.
It is important to determine the proper amount of piston pressure required for the
job at hand. Too much pressure will damage the grommets, and not enough
pressure will fail to cut a hole in to the material and/or will fail to set the grommet
at the same time.
STROKE SETTING: Adjusting the stroke setting is very easy on the MC-20. The
stroke setting is displayed by the bottom digits on the digital display screen of the
MC-20. The stroke setting is adjusted by the stroke up and stroke down keys to the
right hand side of the digits showing the stroke setting in the digital display. The
stroke up key is used to increase the stroke setting. The stroke down key is used to
decrease the stroke setting.
