7. Troubleshooting
7.1 H0/E3: Communication malfunctions between IR341 and main chip on the main PCB.
(H0 is for 80/105 model, E3 is for 120~160 model.)
IR341 chip: it is used for inverter compressor drive.
0537 chip: it is used for control the communication between indoor unit and outdoor unit, and the
communication between outdoors.
Note:
1. The main PCB chip 0537 is on the opposite side of the main PCB.
2. IR341chip is on the IPM module.
LED display H0/E3
Communication malfunction between main PCB chip and IR341 chip
Whether the LED indicator on the drive board flash normally.
Replace the drive board
NO
Whether the signal wiring between the module board and
drive board is connected normally.
Connect wire again.
NO
YES
Disconnect the communication wire between IPM module board
and drive board. And check the third & fourth pin voltage of the
CN1 terminal on the drive board is 3.3V.
YES
Replace the drive board.
NO
Replace the module
board.
Check the DC voltage between P & N terminal on the IPM
module board is from 277V to 345V.
Replace the drive board.
NO
YES
YES
