Touch display
Using pointed or sharp objects on
the touch display can damage it.
Only touch the display with your
fingers.
If your fingers are cold, the touch
display may not react.
Switching the appliance on
To enable the temperature to get
sufficiently cold inside the appliance,
allow the appliance to run for approx.
4hours before placing food in it.
Do not place food in the freezer until it
has reached the required coldness (at
least -18°C).
Standby
Touch briefly.
The welcome message
Miele - Willkommen will appear in the
display for approx. 3seconds.
If this does not happen and
appears in the display, the safety lock
is still activated (see “Selecting further
settings” - “Activating or deactivating
the safety lock” - “Deactivating the
safety lock temporarily”).
Start screen
The display changes to the start screen.
The interior light comes on. The
appliance is now switched on and will
start to cool. It will gradually reach the
pre-set temperature of -18°C.
