Installing the washing machine
The washing machine must be installed by Miele Customer Service
Department or by an authorised dealer. Please observe the inform-
ation on the installation plan.
This washing machine is only intended for items of laundry which
have not been impregnated with dangerous or inflammable sub-
stances.
To avoid the risk of frost damage, the washing machine must not be
located in rooms which may be subject to very low temperatures.
Transport the machine on a trolley inside the room.
Machines with feet must not be pushed to move them.
This could damage them.
Remove the packaging carefully with a suitable tool.
Lift the machine off the pallet using a lifting device.
Securing the machine
The feet of the washing machine must be secured to the concrete
plinth using the fixtures and fastenings supplied.
Fittings supplied are for installation on a concrete floor. For other
types of flooring, please purchase suitable fastening materials sep-
arately.
General operating conditions
This washing machine is intended only for use in a commercial envir-
onment and must only be operated indoors.
Ambient temperature in installation room: 0°C to 40°C
Relative humidity: non-condensing
Depending on the nature of the installation site, sound emissions and
vibration may occur.
Tip: Have the installation site inspected and seek the advice of a pro-
fessional in instances where increased noise may cause a nuisance.
