Examine the cut error [SAMPLE CUT]
In the event where the data cannot be cut properly, the cause of abnormality is investigated cutting
the sample data stored in the equipment.
1. Press the [FUNCTION] key in the local mode.
2. With jog keys [ ] or [ ], select “SAMPLE
CUT.”
3. Press [ENTER/HOLD] key.
4. With jog keys [ ] or [ ], select sample data to
cut.
From the following 2 samples, select data to cut.
Proceed to the procedure 7 if “Cut” is selected and to the
procedure 5 if “LOGO” is selected.

5. With jog keys [ ] and [ ], select magnification
of sample data to cut. (when LOGO is selected)
You may select within the range of 1 to 999%.
6. Press [ENTER/HOLD] key to start cutting.
When sample cut is made, the data stored in the receiving
buffer of the equipment are deleted.
The result of Sample Cut
• The sample data is cut properly but other data cannot be cut properly.
-> It is considered that abnormality exists on the host computer side.
• Tthe sample data and other data cannot be cut properly.
-> Increase the set value of [Corrective Pressure Offset] (refer to the Operation Manual of the
equipment side) and increase the pressure when the cutter goes down.
