# Questions Answers
1 Is white and silver ink supported? No. The JV150 does not have the ink circulation system to accommodate
white and silver inks.
2 Is NCU the same as JV5’s? No. JV5’s NCU checks the nozzles while scanning, the JV150 checks the
nozzles in between jobs , per transferred file or set length.
3 What is the outdoor durability of the orange ink? Equivalent to Magenta.
4 Is the CMYKLcLm ink set available? Yes, but only with ES3 inks.
This is because the print speed with SS21, is the same as the
CMYKLcLmLkOr ink set
5 Is sublimation ink supported? Yes, it is.
6 Is RLP5 supported? No, it isn’t. Please use RL6.
7 Is the ink set between BS3/BS4 and SS21 switchable? Yes, it is,
8 Is the Ethernet connection supported? No, it isn’t. The LAN port is for the event mail notification.
9 Can MAPS3 be turned OFF? No, it can’t.
11 Do I need a separate power source for the drying fan
unit?
Yes, it is needed (less than 1.4A is required, no restriction on voltage)
12 Does the air exhaust unit need a separate power
source from the printer or Drying fan unit?
No, it doesn’t, because the air exhaust unit draws power from the
drying fan. In order to use the air exhaust unit, the drying fan unit has
to be installed at the same time.
13 What do I need to pay attention to, when using an
external heater?
An optional Relay Box is needed to make the external heater work in
conjunction with the printer.
