Replacing the mist filter

Press the
(MENU)
in LOCAL mode.

Press to select “ MAINTENANCE ”,
and press the key.
• MAINTENANCE MENU will be displayed.

Press the key.
• “STATION” will be selected.

Press the key.
• “CARRIGE OUT” will be selected and the carriage
will move.

Open the left maintenance cover.

Remove the mist filter.
• Mist filters are located in two places.
• To remove the mist filter, pull the knob to the front
while pushing the hook in the direction indicated
by the arrow.

Replace with a new filter.

Insert the mist filter.

Close the maintenance cover, and press
the key.
• After its initial operation, the machine returns to
LOCAL.
Replacing the mist filter box
Replace it if it is badly scratched or dirty.

Press the
(MENU)
in LOCAL mode.

Press to select “ MAINTENANCE ”,
and press the key.
• MAINTENANCE MENU will be displayed.

Press the key.
• “STATION” will be selected.

Press the key.
• “CARRIGE OUT” will be selected and the carriage
will move.

Open the left maintenance cover.

Remove the mist filter box.
• To remove the mist filter, pull the knob to the front
while pushing the tabs in the direction indicated
by the arrow.
7
Remove the mist filter.
• If the filter is dirty, press it with a paper towel to
remove the dirt. Or replace it with a new mist filter
(SPC-0819).
