SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS
ADC CONFIGURATIONS
There are many architectural configurations possible for the TAS-2000 System, but all will fall into either ADC
AutoDialler or NSL groups. ADC operation uses the Bell Phone Lines (or other local telephone company) to
communicate to Residents in a building.
The simplest ADC configuration using
one Lobby Unit.
A dual Lobby Unit ADC configuration
sharing one Bell Phone Line. The RS-
485 Bus is not actually required, but may
be installed to allow for future expansion
to Elevator Restriction Units, or for
remote configuration. Each Lobby Unit
has the capability of sensing the
telephone line’s availability.
